Me the fiancee and the pooch stayed in the shepherd's hut for 1 night this January. We cannot express how fantastic this location is. The attention to detail is incredible, every little thing has been thought about. There is a small electric hob, kettle, microwave, and steamer. You can get the log stove fired up and the place is lovely and snug very quickly. Be sure to check out the wood fired hot tub on the decking too. We were in it at 9.30pm while it was 5 degrees and raining and we're lovely and toasty. There is an open fire pit area stocked with logs to get going and plenty of things to set up a bbq. You are far enough away from the main cabin that you don't disturb each other but if you had a large group you can easily stay together and use it to sleep and as a base. I look forward to going back here in the near future and be able to explore more of the west coast of Scotland.
