Such a wild but peaceful time spent in caledonian cabin’s place, placed by the lake not far from running water that comes from the top of the hill. The sound of the river over the stones creates mini waterfall sound that brings your stay such a relaxing feeling.
Cabin itself (the bunk house) is a mini lux place for 1-4 guests, great feeling staying in over the night. Once up in the morning a 10 min walk must come into place just before that first coffee.
We planned Ben Nevis hike on 27.10.20 and stayed in Caledonian cabins which was only 40 min drive to Ben Nevis. We could’ve stayed closer but we could not miss this place.
